The Bible - Introduction

God expects us to use our own  free will and to do our parts, such as to Seek Him and to read his Word the Bible.

As we next do meet his demands, requests he God also meets us and he does rewards us for it, even with the revelation of more spiritual truths that we can personally apply daily in our own life.

(2 Chronicles 15:2 KJV)   The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

Truths such as-

And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. (Isa 30:18 KJV)

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isa 40:31 KJV)

Revealed Truths

There are many other truths God will reveal to us if we seek his face, get to know his word as well.

Truths such as it is God's present will to heal his children, it is his children's bread. Healing is generally gradual, obtained  by faith in God's Word, and God can do now certainly what the medical doctors next cannot as well.

(Isa 53:5 KJV)  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

(James 5:14 KJV)  Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:  1 5 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

(Mat 4:24 KJV)  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

(Mat 8:16 KJV)  When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Forgiveness

You can have complete absolute forgiveness and know it now as well through the Bible.

As you read the Bible and the Holy Sprit reveals your sins, shortcomings, you can confess them and receive complete and absolute forgiveness now as well.

(1 John 5:13 KJV)  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14  And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Much More

While God, Jesus, the Holy spirit are preparing a new home in Heaven for each one of us who accept him personally as Lord, and Savior they have not left us helpless here on earth but have given us Holy Spirit empowered gifts for us to use.

As you read the Bible you can discover these gifts and learn where to use them as well.

(Rom 11:29 KJV)  For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

Peace

Jesus gives us now personaly an abundance of peace, the peace that the world and the people in it do nto know, cannot offer now as well.

(John 14:27 KJV)  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

(Psa 119:165 KJV)  Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. 166    LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.

Where are you going?

(Prov 14:12 KJV)  There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

(Eccl 12:1 KJV)  Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them; 2   While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain: 3  In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,
4  And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of music shall be brought low; 5  Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets: 6  Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. 7  Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. 8  Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

It is great

(Isa 43:25 KJV)  I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

It is great to know our sins are forgiven, and we have now a fresh new life, a fresh new start to serve God and our fellowman.

(Gal 6:10 KJV)  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

(1 Tim 6:17 KJV)  Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
